G. W. Brown Company was founded in 1976 to meet a need for local microscope service. Since that time we have developed lasting relationships with many respected companies in the industry and as a result grown in our capacity to provide fully qualified microscope sales and service to all levels of education, medicine and industry on an international level.

In 1984 we joined with two valued friends and associates to found Service Associates. There are currently eight members, each with over 30 years of experience, who meet annually to discuss the latest in service techniques and events of microscopy. Such conferences keep us at the leading edge of the microscope industry.
